Jordan & Pham Dentistry Cosmetic Dentistry

We can now create beautiful smiles, not just pretty teeth. After examining your mouth and aspects of your smile including tooth length, spacing, crowding, gum position and lip position, we can formulate a customized plan to enhance your smile. Sometimes all it takes is simple bleaching, or minor bonding. Sometimes the best option will be porcelain veneers or gum reshaping using our specialized diode laser. Our goal is to avoid the 'white chicklet' look that appears unnatural. There is simply no, one-size-fits-all solution for smile enhancement. We listen to our patients expectations and desires, make sure that every step of the diagnosis and treatment process is explained and understood, and select the best option for creating your beautiful smile.

The application of a tooth colored filling material (called composite resin) to the teeth has been a dental technique for many years. Recent advancements in this technology have increased the strength, durability and longevity of these restorations. Bonding material can be molded and shaped to achieve outstanding results including closing small spaces between the teeth, making teeth appear straighter, and repairing chips and cracks.
Porcelain veneers are among the most popular and successful methods for changing and improving the look of your smile. The process involves removing a small amount of enamel from the front of the teeth, to make room for the veneers. The veneers are then fabricated from esthetic porcelain materials, and bonded to the teeth. After placement, the veneers look like natural teeth. Some advantages of porcelain veneers over bonding include increased longevity and resistance to staining.

Many restorations are fabricated using a metal lining covered with porcelain. These type of crowns are used because they are strong and easy to place. However, traditional "porcelain-fused-to-metal" crowns tend to be opaque or 'flat' looking because they do not allow light to pass through them as a natural tooth does. There is often a dark or gray line next to the gum-line. With recent advancements in dental technology and bonding techniques, we are able to offer strong all-porcelain bonded restorations. When properly placed and bonded, they are as strong or stronger than the porcelain covered metal crowns. Metal-free dentistry can restore your full dentition back to natural form and beauty, and with our CEREC CAD/CAM technology, in most cases we can restore your teeth with metal-free crowns in a single visit, with no temporaries.

We are able to remove cavities and restore teeth without using ugly, black 'mercury-silver fillings'. Because the tooth-colored materials are bonded to the tooth structure, we can now treat teeth with much less invasive techniques. This allows us to preserve healthy tooth structure and increase the durability of your teeth.

We use inlays, onlays or partial crowns when there is a significant amount of tooth structure that is weakened or decayed and a 'regular' filling will not be strong enough to fix the tooth. Thanks to modern technologies of dental adhesion we are able to restore many teeth that are severely broken down without the invasiveness of full-coverage crowns. It is possible to bond teeth back together, using natural-looking porcelain materials, virtually restoring them back to their virgin strength. In the majority of circumstances, metal fillings or crowns can be replaced with techniques that are more conservative. And, with our CEREC CAD/CAM technology, we can produce beautiful inlays, onlays and partial crowns in a single visit!
